About Us

Welcome to the Palmerston Golf Course. We are a public golf course, featuring an 18 hole championship course, Caddies bistro, clubhouse and a lawn bowls club.

Set in tropical surrounds, the golf course is a challenging and rewarding par 71, enjoyable for all players of all standards. We are home to the Northern Territory PGA tournament which we have held since 2016.

We offer two contrasting nine holes, the front nine is a stronger round, with long fairways, challenging greens and water coming into play on six of the nine holes. The back nine is well wooded and demands accuracy off the tee and on approach.

Our Caddies Bistro serves fantastic, value for money meals and pride ourselves on our wide ranging beverage selection. Our staff are friendly and welcome any inquiries regarding membership. Thanks for visiting and if there is anything we can assist with, just contact us below.

Best regards,

The General Manager.

Through the many facilities that we offer, our aim is to provide our community and visitors to the area with a fantastic, memorable experience.

Palmerston Golf Course Pano.png

Originally constructed in 1995 and then redesigned in 2005 to include the new 9 (Durack side) in 2005 by course designer, Glenn Campbell. The Palmerston Golf Course is set in tropical surrounds,  and the par-71 golf course is a pleasant walk for players of all standards, offering an interesting mix of short and long holes, framed by tall stands of native trees and waterways. The front and back nine straddle University Avenue and this offers two contrasting nine holes. This was intended as a unique design feature for the par-71 golf course.
